Kalama, Wash. - Morrie Anderson, former Plant Manager at Kalama, has taken on the role of VP of Manufacturing. His primary responsibility will be to lead a coordinated approach in Quality Systems and Business Improvement across all of our manufacturing sites including Kalama, WA, Rancho Cucamonga, CA, and Richmond, CA.
Randy Strikwerda, current Rancho Plant Manager, has taken the additional responsibility of Plant Manager at Richmond.
Bruce Hopkins, former Richmond Plant Manager, has taken on a new role for Steelscape as Manager of Business Development and Improvement. His primary role will be to lead our Business Improvement activities such as Six Sigma, coordinate capital investments, and evaluate business opportunities and new technologies.
Ron Hurst will take on the role of Manager of Quality Systems for all Steelscape facilities, overseeing all Quality Systems activities at each site.
Tom Harper will be the new Plant Manager at Kalama.
Craig Thomson, former Material Control Manager, will become the Master Black Belt. Craig will coordinate all Six Sigma activities for Steelscape.
All of these changes represent a commitment by Steelscape to continuously improve, in an effort to add value for their customers.
