Patrick Finan Named Steelscape President
Kalama, Wash. - Steelscape, Inc., formerly BHP Coated Steel Corp., has named
Patrick J. Finan to succeed Paul H. Zuckerman as president of the company. Finan was
vice president and plant manager of Steelscape's plant in Kalama, Wash.
Finan is an 18-year veteran of the steel industry, progressing through various operating
positions in flat rolled steel processing. He joined BHP Coated Steel Corp. in 1996 as
plant manager of the Kalama facility. Previously, he worked in operations for USS-POSCO
Industries and later served as operations manager for PRO-TEC Coating Company. Finan
earned a degree in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University, is a member of the
Association of Iron and Steel Engineers, and serves on the Galvanizer's Association

Zuckerman, who guided Steelscape through its recent acquisition by IMSA Acero of Monterrey,
Mexico, previously served as vice president and plant manager of Steelscape's facility in
Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. After spending the past year commuting from his home in California
to the Washington headquarters, Zuckerman is resigning in order to spend more time with his family.
"This is a truly exciting time for Steelscape," Finan said. "Now that the purchase is
complete we are focusing our efforts on remaining at the forefront of customer satisfaction
in our industry while exploring new directions for our product lines."
