Kalama, Wash. - Steelscape would like to announce the hiring of Mr. Gail Smith to the newly created position of Technical Service & Product Applications Manager. Effective September 29th, 2003. Gail has joined Steelscape after spending 23 years within the steel industry in various technical positions.
Gail will be leading the recently formed Technical Service and Product Applications Department. This group will be responsible for claims resolution, warranties, technical literature and product applications. They will also be the technical liaison between Steelscape and their customers, in addition to being involved with various trade organizations within the steel industry. The Technical Service and Product Applications Department will continue their close working relationship with the Steelscape Quality Systems Department to provide continuous improvement in customer service and products. This new group will be better able to satisfy Steelscape customer requests for increased technical support while being pro-active to identify current and future product and service requirements.
Steelscape, Inc. makes metallic, organic and inorganic coated steel sheet at its facilities in Kalama, Wash., Richmond, Calif. and Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.
