Steelscape Waxing

Steelscape offers waxing for the purpose of lubricating painted product for downstream roll forming processes. Waxing may eliminate the need for additional lubrication during the roll forming process. Wax is applied by our paint line as an in-line process. Waxing involves applying a mist of white Petrolatum^™ to the top surface of the strip prior to recoiling. The wax can be applied at light, medium or heavy levels.
