ZINCALUME® Steel, manufactured by Steelscape, is a metallic coated sheet steel offering two to four times the corrosion resistance of galvanized steel. Its revolutionary aluminum-zinc coating formula consists of 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc, and 1.6% silicon by weight. By volume, the coating is about 80% aluminum.

ZINCALUME, also known by the trade name Galvalume®, has a uniform spangled surface and can be readily bent, roll-formed or drawn. Durability, edge protection and resistance to crevice corrosion have made this product the building material of choice for construction projects throughout the globe.

Steelscape produces ZINCALUME and ZINCALUME® Plus at its Rancho Cucamonga, California, facility. The Rancho Cucamonga plant is strategically positioned for transporting product by both truck and rail, ensuring that all destinations can be served promptly and efficiently.

ZINCALUME is designed for a wide variety of uses. Specifically, ZINCALUME is perfect for architectural applications such as roofing panels, wall panels and metal tiles, as well as metal building applications*.

ZINCALUME comes with a 25-year, 6-month warranty for most applications.

ZINCALUME products meet the EPA Energy Star Cool Roof requirements and are listed on the Energy Star website. ZINCALUME is also approved by the Cool Roof Rating Council as a rated roofing product.

*ZINCALUME is not recommended for application in animal confinement buildings or in buildings where the steel comes in contact with soil, cement and/or concrete. ZINCALUME should not be used with lead, copper, graphite, moist or undried lumber, or chemically treated wood.​
