Steelscape is committed to providing the highest quality
product for its customers. Because of that commitment,
our Rancho Cucamonga, Fairfield, and Kalama facilities are equipped with
state-of-the-art technology and quality control devices. These
devices, along with our highly trained associates, ensure top-quality
products that could only come from Steelscape.
The basic raw material Steelscape uses is called hot rolled band.
Before the steel can be coated, it must be converted from hot rolled
band to cold rolled band. The Kalama plant's pickle line and cold
rolling mill produce the cold rolled band for the Kalama,
Rancho Cucamonga plants. Once the band has been cold rolled, it is
then metallic coated on either our TruZinc
® or Z-NAL
® coating lines. From there it is either
shipped as bare product or continues on to one of our
three paint lines.
We also offer slitting and embossing of both bare and painted coils.
