Operating from facilities in Kalama, Washington and Rancho Cucamonga, California, we apply metallic coatings, paint systems, and specialty finishes to light-gauge steel and provide paint and finishing services for aluminum coil. Primary Capabilities

Metallic Coating

Metallic coatings are applied to steel coil to provide corrosion protection, formability, and long-term durability. Through tightly controlled coating processes, we deliver consistent coating weights, dependable quality, and reliable performance for demanding manufacturing and construction applications.

Painting Coil

Paint systems, finishes, and textures are applied to steel coil on continuous coating lines to enhance appearance and performance. Our controlled painting process delivers consistent color, finish quality, and coating durability across a wide range of end-use applications.

ZINCALUME^® steel is a formulation of 55%/45% aluminum‑zinc alloy metallic coating designed to provide enhanced corrosion resistance and cut-edge protection.

Also known by the trade name Galvalume^®, this metallic coating can be readily formed into a variety of product shapes. ZINCALUME is manufactured at our Rancho Cucamonga, CA facility and is available as a bare product, featuring a uniform spangled surface, or can be painted in an endless array of colors.

TruZinc^® steel is hot‑dipped galvanized steel designed to provide proven corrosion protection and broad formability for downstream manufacturing.

This metallic coating can be readily formed into a variety of product shapes. TruZinc is manufactured at our Kalama, WA facility and is available as a bare product, featuring a uniform minimal spangled surface, or can be painted in an endless array of colors.

Steelscape’s paint lines apply and cure proven paint systems in a continuous coil coating process to support durability, color consistency, and finish performance. Coil is typically painted after metallic coating, while aluminum is processed through the paint line to ensure coated finish performance and appearance.

Steelscape offers a wide range of creative painted solutions, including decorative prints, low-gloss finishes, textures, and more. Our two full-service paint lines are strategically located in the Western U.S. near major transportation hubs for both truck and rail.

After painting, coils are either packaged for shipment or enhanced through value-added processing based on customer requirements, including slitting, embossing, or cut-to-length. These services are designed to reduce downstream handling and align material with customer equipment, specifications, and end-use needs.

Cut-to-Length

Steelscape’s cut‑to‑length capability in Kalama, WA converts coil into flat sheets cut to specified dimensions for applications requiring sheet processing.

Embossing

Steelscape offers non-directional stucco embossing from our Rancho Cucamonga, CA facility to add texture and depth to steel and aluminum for functional and aesthetic applications. The embossing offer includes substrate and gauge dependent limitations and packaging requirements to protect embossed surfaces.
